A Call for Support: Help Us Rebuild What’s Been Damaged
Date: April 8th, 2026
Subject: A Heartfelt Request for Help in Restoring Our Church Home
Dear Pastor and Church Family,
Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. I pray that God continues to strengthen your ministry and surround your congregation with His love and provision.
I write to you today with a heavy heart, yet with a faith that refuses to waver. Our church has long been a place where people have come to encounter God — a place where tears have been wiped away, where families have been restored, where prayers have risen from hurting hearts, and where hope has been reborn. This building has held countless testimonies of God’s goodness.
But today, the very walls that have sheltered so many of God’s people are in distress.
Over the past year, we have faced a series of heartbreaking challenges:
- We no longer have running water in the building.
- Our bathrooms and plumbing have completely failed.
- Our septic system must be replaced after nearby construction crossed and broke our sewer lines.
- The roof is leaking in several areas, allowing water to seep into the sanctuary and hallways.
- Multiple rooms — including the pastor’s office — have suffered water damage and now require major repair.
These issues have made it incredibly difficult for us to gather, worship, and serve our community. Our congregation is small, and while our hearts are full of faith, the financial burden of these repairs is far beyond what we can carry alone.
In moments like this, we cling to the promise of Scripture:
“Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” — Galatians 6:2
It is not easy to ask for help, but we believe in the unity of the Body of Christ. When one part is hurting, the others come alongside in love. Today, we humbly ask if your church would prayerfully consider supporting us during this difficult season. Whether through financial assistance, building materials, skilled labor, or simply lifting us up in prayer, any help you can offer would mean more than words can express.
We believe God is not finished with our church. We believe He can restore what is broken. And we believe He often works through the compassion and generosity of His people.
If you would like more information, we would be glad to share photos, estimates, or details about the repairs needed.
Thank you for taking the time to read our request. May God bless your ministry richly, and may He continue to unite His churches in love, compassion, and purpose.
In Christ,
Karen Wright
